Brewed in collaboration with ’Drakes Brewing’, or so I was told at the 21st Brewery tap on 5th Feb 2013 during ’Strong Beer Month’. Very, very like the beer I had before this (Dub Step IPA @ 10.2% ABV): citrus hop lead with hints of hidden sweetness from caramel flavours in both the aroma and taste. Same look too, amber with an off-white head. Again the alcohol is noticeable, adds to the flavours nicely and I really enjoyed the brew, as i did the Dub Step.

Draft @ 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival, Hayward, CA. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. has a fruity malty hoppy bitter piney aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with piney grapefruit hints.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and grapefruit aroma. Tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor with sweet malt. Medium-plus bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit linger with sweet malt and light pine.

Pours a nice amber color with a white head. Kind of sweet and caramelly, but really nice citrus and fruity hop notes. Some pineapple, grapefruit, and a hint of mango. Sweet brown sugar and caramel on the palate. Good citrus notes of grapefruit peel, some pineapple, mango, peach, and lightly bitter pine.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet earthy citrus aroma. Resiny full bodied palate. Sharp citrus, caramel, and grain taste with a bitter bite and sharp dry finish.

On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a clear amber withj a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit zest, light orange zest and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.
