3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear red-brown color with a small tan head and nice lace. Aroma is a bit faint, but has a good hop character. Flavor is moderately bitter and dry, and brings out more of the hop character. Nice grassy/piney hops. A decent red overall.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Rose & Crown. Reddish and clear in appearance with a one-finger off-white head. The aroma shows sweet malts, caramel and biscuit, with some nutty notes. The flavor falls somewhere between an Irish red and an American amber, with caramel and biscuit, and not much hoppiness to it, just a slight earthy note. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Not very exciting but not bad.
