On tap at the brewpub. This is a beautiful beer! Thick white head. Good retention. Possibly more carbonation than it should have. Has an alcohol nose. Tastes a bit salty! Has a sweet finish with something of a bubblegum essence. The hop flavor is mild, but there.

Very nice fruit forward ESB. Great color and body with good head retention. Great nose of mild roasts, bread and pears. Well balanced bitterness and agreat full mouthfeel and wonderfully malty clean finish. Another great beer from a world class brewer.

Draft. Dark amber/bronze color with alomost no head. Low key, but good somewhat malty, somewhat fruity aroma. Mellow malts and a very earthy hop flavor. Just a bit too carbonated, otherwise a very nice mouthfeel. Well done ESB - one of the better one’s I’ve had.

Tap. Clear-darm amber. Nice aroma - spicy, woodiness, hints o chocolate. Thickly malty. The ESB is normally a pain in the ass style to rate because they all taste the same, but this one is kind of interesting and I rather like it.

Smells of hops and toffee, with smoke. Very nice and unique aroma. Dark amber/orange in color. Fair amount of visible carbonation; off-white head. Good hop presence. Very good ESB. More of a West Coast flavor compared to say, Fullers ESB. Must be the hop variety. Excellent. One of the best ESB’s I’ve had, and with only one previous rating, this is an undiscovered diamond in the rough.

Copper color. No head. Slightly fruity aroma. Some malt in the nose. Great balance of flavors. Slightly sweet caramel malt. A touch of bitterness. A very slight touch of roasted malt in back. Some breadiness. Medium body. A bit cleaner than expected. Nice!
