From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Light malty aroma with a mild yeasty note. Caramel malty, light yeast fruity and crisp hoppy. Sadly filtered for an alt but nice bitter and crisp dry finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AlabastorJones (800) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 20, 2009
Golden orange clear body with very very light lacing, at this point I think they poured me the wrong beer, sweet malt aroma, it’s got that big malty flavor, pretty rough and grainy though, soft bitters balance it well, no hop flavor as is appropriate, pretty tasty, I’ve never seen an alt that looks like this.

Clear amber, slightly sweet, this was an easy drinking beer.

Draft at 21st Amendment. Copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is malt and mild hops. Flavor is caramel malt, bread, and slight grassy hops. Not too exciting, but hey, that’s the style. Maybe if I make it to Zum Uerige that’ll change my mind.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 AtlAggie (241) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 23, 2009
Draft. Deep gold color, with touches of amber in the depths. Not much head. Pretty weak aroma of light citrus hops. Pretty uncomplicated, but balanced flavor, hops and malts all there with nothing much standing out. Refreshing and drinkable, but uninspired.
