3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. can from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy yellow color with a large styrofoam like white head. The nose has a little sulfur, Belgian yeast, and sweet cardamom notes. The flavor is spicy and sweet with heavy cardamom and a slight bitterness on the back end. A little dense and clunky on the tongue for the style. Short to medium finish. Decent.

12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured a cloudy golden with a decent white head. Aroma of cardamom, other spices and citrus fruits and wine. Taste is quite spicy, mostly cardamon, some wine notes a bit dry but very nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz can. Pours cloudy bright yellow with thin white lingering head. Aroma is big lemon and earthy spice notes. Taste is dry golden malt, with cardamom and pepper on the finish. Punchy and bracing. Easily one of the driest beers I’ve ever had. Big Saison.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light golden with a slight haze, with a white head that recedes all too quickly. Aroma has a lot of spice up front, both of the yeast and spice-cabinet variety. The label says dry hopped with cardamom...not sure what cardamom smells like but I’d like to believe this is it in spades, with an almost nutmeg and grass tone in the nose as well. Flavor is light and crisp, though eccentric with a full palate. Earthy spice and nuttiness with a touch of allspice and nutmeg, with a pale malty grainy backbone, gentle saison-yeast sweetness, and a lasting though tamed bitterness. Tastes very belgian, which means I don’t know how to articulate the fact I enjoyed this brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Something about a saison in a can doesn’t feel right. This pours a straw yellow with a thin white head. The aroma has Belgian spice, some orange, grass,. The flavor has the same but is overpowered by the cardamon. Dry and a bit thin.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a crisp, clear straw yellow. Smell is lightly malty, with a bit of peppery spice. Taste is dry and spicy, clear notes of cardamom. The finish is nicely peppery and fairly bitter. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not one of 21st Amendments best. Pours a boring clear dark yellow with a light white head. Smell is of cheap champagne, a little bit of vinegar. Taste is more like a common lager then a saison. Boring. Had on tap at EJ Phair.
