Pours a clear golden-blonde with a quick soft white head. Nose is fairly strong with lots of orange, coriander, and a touch of tartness. Flavor is a bit less potent and definitely a lot less sweet, with the more tart and bitter aspects of the ale coming out harder. Backside is a little too bitter for the style. Not overall bad, but I’ve definitely had better saisons.

Can shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to The Peter! Pours clearish yellow with a fine, white foam head. Herbal nose, lots of white bread and dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with more white bread, herbs, white sugar. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Clean finish, more herbs and white bread. Quite clean overall. Some grassy hop bitterness. Solid saison.

Rating no 125 for this beer, I’ve had the pleasure of working through a fresh sixer of cans. Most noticeable in the nose is the heavy cardamom, but there are other lighter spicy and floral notes as well, over a yeasty golden ale base. Pours lemon yellow with a creamy bright white head. Taste also strongest on cardamom, medium bitterness and low sweetness undercut by the herbal/weedy overtones and mild astringency, love the aggressive spiciness and toned-down mouthfeel (not overly aggressive carbonation, more of a medium body). Some lemony citrus and cream notes, smooth and mildly yeasty finish. Alcohol not a big factor in the flavor. Has good repeatability, really enjoy it as a daily saison.

From can. Floral and fragrant, spicy with cardamon and allspice notes. Orange and orange peel with a little vanilla. Medium golden clear with thin white lacing head. Medium body with heavy carbonation. Starts sweet and spicy with cardamon and bitter orange peel. Bitter spice and hop finish with carbonic tang. Lasting bitterness with orange zest sweetness.

aroma leaves a peppery and spicy impression with a little funky yeast as well...cloudy yellow with half inch white pillowy head leaves some lacing not too much...taste..would be perfect on a 90 degree evening if we ever get another one around here..lemon cough drop,pepper,a hint of mint..light bodied and like seltzer water on the palate..overall..i like saisons especially as hot weather beers so im a bit partial but this tastes good to me
