Draft @ 21st Amendment for Strong Ale Month 2008. Poured a hazy deep amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was sweet with plenty of fruity esters and a smooth spice. Moderately sweet malty flavor with Belgian yeasty esters on the finish. Smooth mouth feel and a medium body.

This is a very warm version of the style due to its thinness, so it verges on a dubbel. Still, caramel, toffee and light toast and chocolate flavors serve as the backbone for this estery ale. Plums and figs dominate, with a very slight hop presence, possibly a northwest variety.

Draft. Mahogony beer with an off-white head. Light cooca, light fig, light yeast aroma. Raisin, fig, malt, yeast flavor. Medium body. Lingering caramel, fig, raisin, nice yeastiness and slight spice. Alcohol well hidden.

On tap @ 21 Amendment poured a clear dark copper with a lasting am,ber head. Aromas of carmel, dark fruit and candi sugar. Palate was light bodied crisp and dry. Flavors of carmel, candi sugar and fruitiness with a crisp dry semi sweet finish.
