Sample at the brewpub on 8/10/10. Pours a clear gold/amber with a medium white head. Aroma of coriander, citrus, cinnamon, banana and a bit of pepper. Peppery flavor with a bit of sweetness and banana with some cinnamon and herbs in the finish and a touch of bitterness.

A: The pour is a decent looking golden color with a small white head. S: This beer has cinnamon added rather than the traditional coriander. And the cinnamon is overdone to say the least. The beer has an almost meaty aroma, sort of smells like pastrami (strangely). T: The cinnamon is similarly overpowering on the palate. Lightly sweet underneath, but then a heaping spoon of cinnamon straight to the face. The same meaty quality is present, and just does not make any sense. M: The body is medium with a somewhat light level of carbonation. D: This was one awful beer. The cinnamon could have been a good idea, but a smaller dose would have been a good idea.
