High alcohol content is awesome. Sweet taste for an imperial. Pretty good but not too special.

Tap. Copper with no real head. Smells like lipstick and pine. Sweet and a little bit hoppy with the hops growing moderately. Starts with a round mouth feel then the carbonation kicks in, light hoppy finish.

64oz growler I bought at Big Z. Pours a clear, garnet amber with some lacing, creamy white head. Smells like lemon peach ice tea, pine, some grapefruit, some orange. Flavor of orange, but really peachy lemon iced tea, pine, some grape jelly. Full, astringent, bitter but also sweet finish. Tannic.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Uber. Pours dark golden with thin creamy head. Sour fruity aroma. Taste is big syrupy sweet malts with an odd sourish finish. Slight bitterness throughout. Pretty sure they weren’t going for sour here, so guessing something is amiss. Either way, needs more hops to balance out the big malt body.

Deep red mahogony clear. Toasty, some nice hops in there. Too alcoholy for my taste.

Snifter on tap at Bakersfield for $8. Clear darker red color, good foamy off white head, good lace. Spicy hops, good malt profile, some chocolate, little jammy darker fruit. Smooth lighter carbonation, bigger body, more dry. Good bitter taste, little sweet. Good but not worth the cost
