Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark ruddy copper with a 3+ finger creamy near-beige head. Warm, roasty, hoppy aroma. Full bodied. Tastes like a red with a lot of floral and citrus hop. Fun little hit of light pitted fruit in the end. Extremely tasty.

Dark orange brown in color, aroma of caramel malts, vanilla... Flavor is caramel, hints of oak... Finish has mild earthy hop bitterness... Pretty unremarkable though, expected more from 21st A, not terribly complex

Tap. Pours mostly clear, dark brown with average, creamy off-white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is bread and toast malts, figs, dates, citrus hops, caramel, and light spice. Draft at Churchkey. Beautiful dark ruby pour, smallish frothy head with good lacing. Nose holds big lemon and tea hop character, spruce resin, sweet blood orange and touches of pink grapefruit- very nice, complex hoppy nose. Flavor holds huge orange, floral, and woody tea component, the perfect amount of malt balance. Can definitely feel the heat, but it’s welcome. Damn damn damn good.
