Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009 Big hop aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a pine fruit flavour. A little bitterness in a crisp and floral malt finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours an amber orange body with a white head. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit notes. Strong hop resins, grass y body with a strong mildly citrus warming. Great.

Shaker @ the brewpub. Color is hazy dark amber with a strong head and a sticky lacing. Aroma is very spiky and bitter fruit , sweet bubblegum, and bitter green hops. It is all well mixed well together. Flavor is sweet hops with the bitterness trying to round it off at the very end of the flavor. A full mouthfeel with an average mouthfeel.

Tap @ 23rd Street with beastiefan2k. Amber color. Aroma of citrus hop bomb. West Coast IPA-esque. Flavor is a caramel malt. Lots of hops. Long lingering bitterness.

The first of my top 5 favorites from GTMW 2009. Met Bucky the night before at the pre-party and he was such a nice fellow. Decided i should make my way over to his booth first thing on Saturday. Poured a bright translucent copper colour with a big ass head. Super pungent citrus notes on the nose with a little peach and maybe even pineapple. Taste is nothing but the diggity dank, but super well balanced and firmly hopped. Nice brew Bucky!

Growler from my Lawrence connection, Kerrianne our Wayward Son with many thanks. I get the tangerine in this one -- and that’s probably not just the power of suggestion. Nice and mellow IPA and you’d never guess this was a 7.2% beer. Nicely done.

Draft at the brewery.7.2% ABV. 80 IBU. Pours a slight head, over a slightly cloudy golden, orange (SRM 10) body.......nose of pine and grapefruit....mouth feel medium. A fairly typical, average IPA.

Had this awhile ago w/ G & L just prior to the KU/NU game. It had a sweet aroma - we likened it to a jolly rancher melon candy. Appricot in color, cloudy - no head. Grapefruit/citrus from the hops, woody and nutty notes mid sip then bitter kicker in the end. I’ll go back to this place. Love local beer.
