Perhaps expected something different. Pours clear amber with a small creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose is lemon , citrus, sugar , fruit and herbs. Full bodied. Taste is herbs and lemon. Reminds me of an imperial radler mixed with herbs. One dimensional. Not really my thing I guess. heavy (835), Split, Croatia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2009 29/10 0.5 l bottle, courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured amber body with medium sized head. Sweetish malty and herbal aroma, like pelinkovac or jägermeister. Strong herbal flavor, like already mentioned drinks, I would add martini to the list of similarities here. Fine malty base. Kinda sweet in alcoholic way, but it’s just an illusion of an aperitif than real alcohol touch. Medium bodied with pretty short bittersweet finish. Very interesting and definitely different than anything I’ve tried. It’s good after all. Doggythedog (1570), Split, Croatia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Bottle from the Pivovarsky Klub in Prague, shared with heavy Coppery/amber body, scant head. The nose is sticky but bearably so malt, chewing gum, bit herbal. Kinda like a martini or something. Dry, bitter taste, obviously herbal, with some bubblegummy maltiness showing through, like Orbit for Kids. I’m at a loss trying to define which they are... pine and caramel seem like passable descriptors for what I can taste as well. Interesting certainly and drinkable... the aftertaste not being all that long. PJClarke (674), London, Greater London, England
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Amber with a washing up liquid and licorice aroma mingled with minty chewing gum. For some reason this reminds me of grandmothers. Not mine, just all grandmothers. I don’t like this one bit. Not to say I don’t like grandmothers but you know. Just saw that it contains 30 herbs, this beer is a mess. Much like Campari though I guess. Still shite. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Nice amber colored beer with a froathy white head. Interesting herbal-spicy aroma with malt and caramel. Medium body, sweet malt flavour with a strong herbal character. Cardamon is a good tip i think with a lot of other spicy tastes. And what a surprise: it has a herbal aftertaste... Interesting one. larsga (2959), Oslo, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2009 Small white head. Amber body with vigourous carbonation. Sugary intensely spicy malty cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon aroma with gingery bready notes. Dry-sweet gingery plastic cinnamon and oranges taste with carraway notes. Smooth mouthfeel. Palate verges on cloying. Full body. Dry spicy carraway and cinnamon aftertaste with buttery notes. Very interesting, but maybe a bit too sweet. (0.33l bottle at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague.)
