Bottle @ Pivovarsky Dum, Prague. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, lots of herbs, coriands, fennel, cinnamon. Flavor is malt, yeat, grassy hops, hints of licorice / fennel, herbal. Thin body, lively. Allthough very herbal, this is actually a really nice beer. 050812

0.33 L bottle bought @Pivoňka, Hradec Králové. A tall lasting sand-colored head, resting on a clear deep reddish amber body. Massive spicy/herbal aroma from the 33 (!) different herbs added. Cinnamon and nutmeg shines through, and the other ones is well integrated. Medium malt body. A certain malty sweetness before the herbs and spices take over. Surprisingly balanced. A light soapy tone, otherwise a nicely spiced up and fairly rounded beer. Long lingering spice finish.

Draft @ Qingdao Beer Festival. Amber with enthusiastic big rocky head. Herbal aroma is Becherovca, ginger, fennel, coriander, and gin. A little big grandmotherly, tasting like old school digestive herbs. But has a nice dry finish. The hops blend well with the herbs. Characterful, interesting, nice and refreshing herbal beer.

Amber and slightly hazy. Thin white head. Whacky herbal aroma with gentian to the fore and floral, spicy notes in the background. Very spicy character. Soft body with light spicy astringency, but still lots of caramel malts underneath.
