Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Aroma caramel, ripe apples, light smoke(?). Creamy off-white head, clear cola colour. Taste like a second running of a cheap coffee. Watery, washing rag. Bitter astringent aftertaste. This one is a step in wrong direction.

On tap. Very satisfying dark beer. Was sampling a few dark Czech beers and I came back to this one in the end. Carmelly, sweet, refreshing. Not too thick in fact as the color would lead you to assume. Very aromatic bubbly head. Will come back to this one again :)

dark colour, moderate, not too long lasting beige head; aroma of roasted malt and sugar; taste of roasted malt, roasted sugar, some coffee and minimal sourness. OK swarzbier.

Barva: hnědá až černá s rudým nádechem. Pěna: hustá držící. Vůně: sladová s karamelovou stopou. Chuť: Středně až plné tělo, výrazná sladová chuť s nádechem kávy. Středně až mírně hořké, leč hořkost ulpívá. Slučné černé pivo.

Pours brown with a dense beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, nuts and light chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, roasted haselnuts and light chocolate.

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown color with decent tan head. Aroma is roasty, caramel, vanilla, malt. Flavor is malt, roasty, caramel and slightly smokey. Quite nice.

Very good schwarzbier, easy to drink, still not tasteless at all. Union of sweet and bitter.

Bottled at Loch Ness, Karlshamn. Clear dark brown, rich head. Aroma of grass and hay. Mid dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Mild earth, coffee and molasses. Long salty grassy finish.

A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit as well as lighter notes of caramel and bread.
