COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: This beer is named after its unique garnet red-brown color (darker than most dark beers). The color of Černá Hora Granát could lead its consumer to call it a "black beer". Taste: it is characterized by its fullness, sweetness and very dark color. A high proportion of Bavarian, caramel and coloring malt based on a longstanding recipe gives the beer its unmistakable caramel taste and markedly influences its bitterness. It is distinguishable by its good head and vigor. Has won 1st place in category of dark lagers upon competition - "The Golden Cup PIVEX - BEER 1999". Winning competition "Dočesná Žatec" in 1995 -1999 years

Bottle share en route to Cotteridge Convention. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head, Wood aroma and notes, not ba but nothing inspiring for me, like a dullish dunkel.

Bottle thanks to Fergus on the train to the Cotteridge Convention. It pours clear deep red-brown with a small white head. The nose is soft, sweet malty goodness, toasty brown sugar, caramel and mild spice. The taste is clean, bitter-sweet, cola, caramel, toasty, cardboard, mild toast and coffee with a dryish finish. Medium body and foamy carbonation. Smooth, balance and rather drinkable. Good Tmavy.

500ml bottle. Very nice appearance with non lasting (but bubbling and not creamy) foam, dark brown colour, slick texture. Taste is quite roasted coffee with some caramel and earth. Dry not sweet. Short finish after the taste orgy. The beer is almost thin.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, toasty malt, chocolate, hints of coffee and prunes. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark bread, raisins and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Výčap Omama. Tmavšia hnedá farba, pena rýchlo padla. Vôňa sladká, karamelová. V chuti sladkosť, jemne pražené slady a karamel. V pozadí trošku kávy.
