Origin of name: This beer is named after its unique garnet red-brown color (darker than most dark beers). The color of Černá Hora Granát could lead its consumer to call it a "black beer". Taste: it is characterized by its fullness, sweetness and very dark color. A high proportion of Bavarian, caramel and coloring malt based on a longstanding recipe gives the beer its unmistakable caramel taste and markedly influences its bitterness. It is distinguishable by its good head and vigor. Has won 1st place in category of dark lagers upon competition - "The Golden Cup PIVEX - BEER 1999".
