COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: the name is taken from the name of the star Kvasar. The inventor of this beer was Mr. Jiří Jelínek, who began brewing beer at home in his brewery in Sentice not far from Tišnov. Taste: this beer is characterized by its good head, golden yellow to golden brown color, and good vigor and fullness, which incite further drinking and corresponds to the characteristics of semi-fermented Czech beers. It is distinguished by its slightly sweet character due to its well-balanced bitterness and subtle honey flavor.

Bottle - Yellow/Copperish colour, with a thin head. Some honey sweetness for the nose, the taste is combined with some sweetness, low bitterness and soury malt. The ending again is sweet. Not bad at all, could be a little be more complex.

Pours a fairly clear golden color, topped with a white frothy head. Sweet malty aroma, nice gentle honey aroma also present. Taste is sweet, not too sweet, with honey notes. Slightly metallic in the aftertaste, but still pretty nice.

50cl bottle @ home, gift from Csak a Jó Sör - Only Good Beer, Budapest, many thanks! Clear fizzy yellow golden body, medium white quite fizzy average lasting fair lacing head. Aroma caramel, honey, malt, floral, more honey, watery, light cereal. Taste medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, hint of fruity sourness. Light to medium body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, medium lasting honeyish sweetish quite hoppy bitter finish. Very refreshing, easy beer, good one.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2014 Bottle 0,5l; aroma decent malt and yeasty. Gold clear body with small white head. Nice medium sweet flavor, hints of roasted malt, almond, honey (maybe turkish nougat), light bitter, especialy on the finish. Average carbonation, palate smooth, low carbonation.
Overall: nice suprise, Černá Hora isn’t one of the favorite czech breweries, but this piece is good crafty.
