COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: the name is taken from the name of the star Kvasar. The inventor of this beer was Mr. Jiří Jelínek, who began brewing beer at home in his brewery in Sentice not far from Tišnov. Taste: this beer is characterized by its good head, golden yellow to golden brown color, and good vigor and fullness, which incite further drinking and corresponds to the characteristics of semi-fermented Czech beers. It is distinguished by its slightly sweet character due to its well-balanced bitterness and subtle honey flavor.

Aroma caramel, honey, malt, floral, more honey, watery, light cereal. Taste medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, hint of fruity sourness. Light to medium body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, medium lasting honeyish sweetish quite hoppy bitter finish. Very refreshing, easy beer, good one.

Tap. Clear golden colour. Big, frothy, lacey head. Slightly sweet, grassy nose, bu rather weak aroma in general. Sweet, caramelly taste. Then there is something that reminds of mlik-chocolate, which I deem to be the honey. Tastes a bit like a dark bock to me rather than a pale lager(?). Slightly chewy mouthfeel, rather fullbodied. I seem to be the only one, who likes this beer, and was quite suprised to find it rated so lowly here.

Bottle. A bit weak but nice aroma of honey and malt. Great taste of lager, just a bit sweeter. Hints of malt, yeast and honey. This is a great beer for daily drinking, one of my most favorite lagers.
