COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: the name is taken from the name of the star Kvasar. The inventor of this beer was Mr. Jiří Jelínek, who began brewing beer at home in his brewery in Sentice not far from Tišnov. Taste: this beer is characterized by its good head, golden yellow to golden brown color, and good vigor and fullness, which incite further drinking and corresponds to the characteristics of semi-fermented Czech beers. It is distinguished by its slightly sweet character due to its well-balanced bitterness and subtle honey flavor.

Pour reveals a very light head. Aroma is also not distintive. Apperance is slightly redder than a normal pilsner but quite clear. Taste is nice, better than the industrial pilsners. I rate it as a very good on my scale. A good beer.

Bottle: Golden colour, thin, short lasting head; sweetish, slightly malty beginning, malt-accented taste, quite medium bodied, short, spicy and bitter aftertaste with a tinge of sweetness; the honey is extremely well hidden, nearly the same brew as the "Lezak" with a tinge of sweetness, but not , as expected, better rounded. Anyway: a good one.......
