COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: the name is taken from the name of the star Kvasar. The inventor of this beer was Mr. Jiří Jelínek, who began brewing beer at home in his brewery in Sentice not far from Tišnov. Taste: this beer is characterized by its good head, golden yellow to golden brown color, and good vigor and fullness, which incite further drinking and corresponds to the characteristics of semi-fermented Czech beers. It is distinguished by its slightly sweet character due to its well-balanced bitterness and subtle honey flavor.

Golden amber colored pour. Medium-sized white head, peaky. Little bit of lacing as it drops. Spicy aroma of coriander, malt. Taste is pretty much the same with a slight sourness to it. It’s okay.

Golden orange body with poor head. Slight sweet aroma, grainy and cardboard. Taste is pretty much the same, pretty boring really, sort of notice the honey notes as promoted.

(Bottled) Clear, honey-golden color with a small head - after a huge initial burst from the bottle. Slightly stuffy, very mild aroma of sweet honey. Sweetish, acidic flavor with a European strong lager-like sweetish honey. Medium-bodied, sweetish and acidic palate with low carbonation. A kinda cheap brew, too sweet also.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color. Malty and honeyish aroma with some herbal-peppery hops. Sweet, malty, honeyish and cloying flavor with some peppery hoppiness as well as some vinous notes reminiscent of mead.

Sociable strong lager, malty, dry and crisp in taste with some strange fruity hops in the finish. (Draught at Černohorský Sklep, Brno)
