COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin of name: The beer was named after Father V.Ševčík, who established the joint-stock company in 1896 and helped to establish the brewery in uneasy times. Taste: it is characterized by its well-balanced fullness and combines the taste priorities of both 10 degree and twelve degree beers. The beer is again brewed using only Moravian ingredients, Moravian malt and Moravian hops. Alcohol content should be 4.4 %.

Barva: středně zlatá, pěna světle žlutobílá, hustá, držící. Vůně: nevýrazná, sladová s ovocným akcentem. Chuť: středně plné pivo, jen mírně hořké, sladový dozvuk.

Golden pour with a slim white head. Not much lacing. A malty aroma with a slight sourness. Sweet malt flavor with a slight bitterness. A little dried corn in the finish. Not too bad.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 draft. typical clear gold with a fine-bubbled white head. clean and crisp approach, simple and sweet with light baked cracker and honey flavors. fresh-tasting and light bodied, helles-like with decent froth across the middle and a lightly sweet pils malt finish.

0,5l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear pale beer with medium white head. Sour aroma, a bit hoppy, a bit malty. Medium bitter taste. Light body with medium texture. Lively carbonation and long bitter finish. I don’t like this beer very much, but it’s OK.

Enjoyed this beer on tap in Prague. The beer had a cloudy gold color with a good foamy white head with a lot of cling and good retention. The aroma featured some grain, wheat, straw, and barley malt. It had a slightly bitter, grainy tasted, with only the lightest touch of sweetness. It was rather watery, with little carbonation, and was quite thin with a light mouthfeel.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 29 July 2011) Golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grass and hay. Malty, clean taste with bread, grass, hay and a mild grassy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Rather light body. Nothing fancy, just solid and well made. Quite nice.
