COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Cloudy orange appearance. Slightly acidic and lacking in body and flavour. Bit of a disappointment as I expected far better.

Bottle in Lublin, Poland. From notes. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Fruity with grainy notes and caramel. Light sweet, medium bitter finish. Not very well balanced.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Flat looking. Thought it was a lager, right up until the cloudy wheaty bit dribbled out at the end of the pour. Poor condition generally. Milky quality. Nutty breakfast cereal. Cream. Curious, but OK.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of metal, bananas, bubblegum and white pepper. Flavour of blood, chalky wheat and green apple. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizzy. Too metallic and thin for my liking.

Bottle 0,5l. Somewhat fruity, little bit sour, without bitterness. Insipid, not interesting flavor. I was expecting more.

500 ml bottle. BB 21/10/14. (Spar) Prague, Czech Republic.
Hazy bright yellow golden colour with a small white head. Sweet toffee, mild yeast, mild wheat and mild caramel malt in the aroma. Not bad. The flavour is sweet caramel, yeasty bitterness, mild hops, wheat and mild toffee. Nice. Tasty. A bit thin.

500ml bottle @ Midlands Tasting Aug 14, at Richie’s Hop Palace. Decent hefe. Pours hazy yellow with thin white head. Bubblegum, cloves, banana esters all present and accounted for with a nice texture. Pleasant and easy drinking.

Cheers Mat, shared with 5 others at the Midland meet on 23rd Aug 2014. Pours a hazy Hefeweizen style yellowy orange with the usual white head. Sour banana esters and taste (can you have a sour banana?), almost your typical Hefeweizen apart from the lack of vanilla and that sourness I mentioned earlier: strange.
