Hazy golden-orange color with medium head. Deep aroma, animal hop character, some caramel, light wood, almost smoke. Smooth mouthfeel; toffeish caramel flavor, strong yeast character, spicy; strong bitterness too; resiny hops, not fruity, not shining. Astringent in the final.
Not the IPA I expected, but a good beer nevertheless.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is cloudy orange with a mixed bubbled head. Nose is hoppy as you would expect w/ a focus on floral and citrus. This is a bit sweet with a lot of orange and overall a very nice, fresh hop character. It is medium bodied w/ medium carbonation. This is a down the middle IPA that won’t surprise anyone but it’s really well done.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft on tap at RBSG Brewers Dinner at Dressels (St. Louis, MO). Pours a nice deeper amber orange hue, firmer haze and frothy offwhite head atop stays as a filmy layer, sticks around and laces well enoigh. Nice stick around. Aromas are touches of bubblegum, faint tropical fruit. Big juicy fruit gum, touches of melon and citrus, tropical fruit, gentle pineapple. A bit bready big potent nose. Initial is a bit sweeter with big juicy fruit gum, touches of melon, gumball and citrusy hops. Bitterness is middling fairly fresh with a potent fruity melange up front. Middle is a bit soapy, sweet, bubblegum and fruit. Touches of florals and bitterness, faint soap. Sweetness and fruit dominance is nice, potent with touches of florals and citrusy trailing hops. Decent bitterness, some florals and a bit grassy, gentle rind element as we finish. Some dryness, bitterness and citrus elements kick a bit more in the end. Touches of fruit, gentle bread and grain, nice fruit elements as that grapefruit juice and rind comes into focus in the backend and finish. Tasty stuff, a touch sweet but as the palate adjusts this really delivers.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks, Alex! Cloudy, peachy colour. Fresh peachy mosaic aroma, and the yeast is in there a bit b/c it got agitated. The hops aren’t all that bright but the balance is nice - rich bitterness - and it finishes with a nice mosaic character. Honestly, Columbus and Mosaic should blow my mind, I wish this got to me at peak freshness.
