AON is an Ipa that has everything you could want in one, if what you want is a hop sandwich. It’s a 7.7% Simcoe and Columbus delight. Only get to make this 3 more times till 2013!

This beer was also known as "American IPA." It was the generic label given to each participating brewery’s American-style IPA at the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival in June 2011.

Bottle @ Richard’s tasting. Orange pour with an off-white head. Nose is sweet caramel, herbal hops, and wood. Some water, grass, and orange peel notes, too. Sweet caramel flavor. Some herbs and orange peel, wood, water, and grass. Light bitterness on the finish.

Big c hop grapefruit citrus profile. First in the series of impromptu work night IPA day last week. Resiny sticky pine finish. Crisp green apple and bubble gum aromas. I’m starting to prefer a bit more of a delicate hop profile with some of the more tropical flavors as opposed to enamel piercing grapefruit and pine flavors. For that reason this one falls third in the list of what we drank this night but for a straight IPA this is still a really nice drink.

Draught at the Bailey’s Range, St Louis, MO.
Clear amber colour with a small white head. Resiny hoppy aroma with some sweetness and moderate bitterness. The flavour is balanced and hoppy. Resiny hops, moderate bitterness and strong sweetness. Bitterness in the aftertaste. Tasty.

On cask at GTMW 2013 - Pours amber with a bit of light tan foamy head. Nose is citrus/dank/pine hops, with lots of mango. Can barely smell the malt. Taste is dank grassy hops, pale malt backbone. Smooth, with nice gentle carbonation. This one was done right.

Nice IPA that is hard to find locally in ST. Louis. Tried this one in the brilliant (though way too loud) Bailey's Range in downtown STL. It is hoppy goodness that still manages to be well-balanced although it pushes the envelope of hoppiness (at least for me). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 thanks to Seth. Solid nose. Aroma is total bitter hops. Simcoe all the way. Slight sweetness to body. Tropical fruit. Extremely tasty.

Draft. Pours a very clear light amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a wonderful floral, citrusy choppy character, with a fruity sweetness, reminiscent of peaches, pears, and apple. Flavor is moderately sweet with a well balanced hoppy bittnerness. Light in body with a mild lingering sweet and bitter. Tasty IPA.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 The appearance has a cloudy amber color with a medium white head that doesn’t fade too fast, and the aroma is a nice mixture of citrus hops, diacetyl, and a hint of yeast. The taste is quite bitter on the front with some mild sweetness and a hint of sour balancing out the flavor nicely, and the palate is extremely complementary with its a long, slightly bitter finish, a soft carbonation, oily texture, and a medium body.

On tap. Light orange with brief white head. Hoppy resiny aroma. Taste initial sweet malts, followed by the hops - some citrus but to me mostly resin/pine. Not bad but not that notable either.
