Dark. Cherry cough syrup. Bedazzled wax dipped bottle. Way too low alcohol for the way it tastes. Low body. I think this bottle. Thanks a lot Tony B. :-)

It poured a deep brown almost black color with a small tan head. The aroma was of roasted malts, dark fruit and a lot of bourbon. The taste was of roasted malts, dark fruits, a hint of cocoa and lots of bourbon. Mighty tasty.

Pours quite dark brown with a good sized tan head. The aroma has quite a bit of bourbon, apple, cocoa, vanilla and nougat. Medium / thin body that is a bit on the snappy side with a nice gentle amount of semi-soft carbonation. The taste starts off with a more balanced amount of the roasted malt, cocoa notes and bourbon. There is a a bit of spice and green apple. The finish has a little bit of spicy / earthy hops showing through and a real smoothness to all of the flavors from the beer. Really well done. The aroma makes it seem the bourbon will overpower, but the taste has a great blend of flavors.
