Brew Cocky is another IPA I came up with that is brewed with loads and loads of Falconers Flight Hops that we use in an inappropriate, gratuitous manner and make them just explode in your face.

Great scent of malt sweetness and unique hops, like a lagunitas beer with its own twist. Dark orange, cloudy appearance. Taste is very hop forward with just enough malt to balance it. Interestingly, it is not bitter in the aftertaste, just very hoppy up front. Good palate for the style. Thick, oily, not overly carbonated. Definitely worth trying; solid DIPA.

750 mL bottle shared with Gus. The pour is a darker orange with a thick white head and a strong lace. The aroma is very malty. There is a tropical fruit going on that is really nice behind the hop, but the malt dominance just doesnít do it for me. The flavor is much of the same. Not really any hop or fruit, but there is a lot of sweet malt. Itís really interesting. Sweet malt. Ugh. The mouth feel is a little heavy and nicely carbonated. The sweet malt just powers the back end and itís not my jam at all. Damnit.

A cat pee BEER. When it hits, it's all cat pee. Pour a golden gay with a cat pee nose feel. Better in the daylight. Three out of five, taste is the pee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml. Hoppy and bitter. Floral somewhat hops, donít know the date but donít think this was very fresh. Orange zest.

bottle thanks to GreginSTL. Nose is super hoppy with a ton of classis C type hops. Lots of grapefruit as well. a light red color with a large white head. Taste is like a creamed hop cone, slightly sweet, chewy, moderately bitter and full of hop flavor as well. A really solid DIPA, but one that seems a little old world with a malt backbone that almost detracts from the hops. Not so much as others, but I like mine to be a little thinner. Some light peppery notes in the finish as it warms. Not sure if hops or ABV, but the alcohol is well done here too.

25.4oz bottle, BB Oct. Cloudy year-old penny color, nice lacing. Somewhat aged citrus taste (mostly orange) with light Ivory soap, earthy and resinous hints. Solid bitterness. Full body, medium carbonation.

Large bottle into teku, "drink by 10/2015" so we beat that by 3-4 months. Iím a big fan of Falconer hops so when I read the description on the bottle while on vacation, standing in the limited/rare sectionÖI had no choice. Aroma is of a rich yet subtle orange, color is a classic orange and cloudy. So smooth in taste, damn near perfection. If you chug it then it can be a little boozy in the mouth, this is to be savored and appreciated. Itís not complex or complicated, but concentrated craftsmanship. No way am I passing through MO again without seeking out more of this wonderful IIPA.

750. Pours a hazy orangish amber with a very dense and thick head. Aromas are fairly subdued... a bit of orange blossom, soap and light citrus. Flavor is a nice and punchy DIPA with lots of resin and citrus and a hint of soap. It balances nicely against a nice malt presence that sits about half way between honey and caramel. Very nice.

Hmm...Iím not getting the tropical fruit and citrus that most other reviewers report. I get lots of resinous bitterness, some booze (but not crazy) and some light sweetness in the background. The bitterness is very intense. Fairly highly carbonated. Maybe mine is a little old? OK, but not great.

Bottle shared at the July MDF tasting. Clear copper, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, zest and pithy citrus, caramel malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mild lingering bitterness.
