Sampled on tap at the 2nd annual Urban Chestnut Wolpertinger party in a dimple mug. It poured an opaque, very dark brown colour, red hue at the edges, with fluffy, long-lasting beige foam and lots of lace. Perfect appearance. Aromas of malt, roasty grains, coffee, chocolate, toast. Flavour was just as good and complex: bready, tart, toasty, hints of plums, raisins, black coffee and dark chocolate again. Utterly delicious. Medium body and carbonation, chewy mouthfeel, lingering multilayered bittersweet aftertaste. Definitely another highlight of the event. Keep it up, 2nd Shift!

Bottle shared at Brad Fest 2012 in Minneapolis, MN. This bottle was a gusher when opened. Pours a dark brown color with tan head. Dark malt, roasty aromas. Nice roasty flavor. Very carbonated.

Bottle @ B.R.A.D. Fest, courtesy of jcnielsen. Possibly infected, super bubbly head. Pours a brown appearance with a huge brown head. Spicy, toasted coffee, light chocolate, a touch fruity aroma. Slightly burnt, light chocolate, lightly roasted coffee, a bit friuty flavor. Way overcarbonated but I don’t think it’s infected.

(750ml bottle thanks to mora2000) clear deep brown, lasting dark tan head and nice lacing. Nose of cream, milk chocolate, chalk. Taste is very dry, milk chocolate, dry as hell, very well carbonated. Nice for 5%.

Terminus (3316) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Tap at ITAP-Soulard June 2012-pours dark brown with a small kacki soapy head with various bubble sizes and mild carbonation. nose is somewhat nutty, milky, malted milk balls and anise. flavors are alite with hints of woody malt flavors. hmm, kind of different here. a very dry finish not much going on though however. a decent beer in the lines of a lite stout yet kind of odd. fairly bitter baking chocolate and earthy hops long into the finish. not a bad beer albeit somewhat unusual.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of chocolate and roasted malt with a little coffe in there. Flavor is a little less intense. Still get a decent roasted malt with some chocolate milk and coffee but its a bit watery for my liking. Still a decent pick up and the low alcohol is a plus.

It poured a dark color with a small tan head. The aroma was coffee, chocolate and some roasted malts. The taste was a decent amount of coffee and some roasted malts. A hint of chocolate was in the aftertaste. A very good stout.

Draft with a burger and fries. Chocolate milk, malt. Flavor stays solid through the aftertaste. Good, solid stout. Very drinkable!

750 from Wine and Cheese in St. Louis. Slightly velvet/creamy stout. Big tan head. Not a big heavy body. Some coffee and chocolate.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours black with a 4 finger creamy/foamy tan head. Through the head I can only get chcolate and some dark malt. Med minus body. Flavor is dark chocolate and a burnt malt that reminds of the old style Guinness. There’s coffee in it, and something like citrus hop? Basically it’s pretty dry, and bitter. The dominant flavor seems to be the malt. I was hoping Cat Spit related to Cat Piss, but it’s pretty good stuff thanks to the malt bitter.
