EGG is another IPA that we came up with. All you need to know is over 3 lbs. per barrel of Columbus, Amarillo, and Citra.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a big cream colored head. This is two years old. For some reason I thought this was a brett saison but evidently itís an IPA. Itís not really fair to rate it at this point and I wouldnít but itís actually kind of cool. The aroma is still pretty tropical fruit forward. Plenty of melon, mango, and oranges. Medium body. A little boozy. Itís certainly deteriorated but there is some peach and mango notes intact. I think this would be pretty cool fresh.

750mL bottle, sent from xscottypx (thanks a lot, Scott), pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity, bringing out loads of tropical fruits--think pineapple, peaches--, along with resinous hops, and quite a bit of pine. Flavour brings out loads of pine, some subtler (than the nose) tropical fruits, resinous hops, and just enough biscuity malt to back. Very dry and exceedingly piney on the palate, leaving a slight astringency and a very dry finish. High drinkability stuff. Excellent IPA.

Dk if it was an older bottle but it seemed pretty malty. Tropical fruit, citrus, and pine round it out.

Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of citrus hops, slight floral hops, and sweet malt. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of citrus hops, slight floral hops, sweet malt, and slight earthy malt.

Yes, 9 months old, but really fun citrus still highly carbonated creamy IPA. The hops still gave it taste and citrus bitterness, cleaning the palate. FlandersNed IP, another interesting one. Incredible creamy head though the c-p of the citra took over, like smelling cat p after many many days.

Hazy, copper with a white head. The aroma has notes of orange peel and floral hops. It has a light, oily texture with average carbonation. The bittersweet flavor is tasty and refreshing.

Enjoyed this beer from a small local brewery. Felt like it was a good attempt at an india pale ale. It certainly had some good hops to it. There was a skunkiness to it (not my fav), may have just been this one bottle. I like more complete flavors, and really good transitions from flavor to flavor. Not saying that this was not a good beer. I hope they keep trying, hats off to them.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2014 Rerated a couple years later... So this is a nice clear orange with a smaller head than I remember and aromas of... oh... heavens... sweet citrus and tropical fruit in an explosion of happiness, maybe a little more robust than before. Flavor is also much better... the hops presence matches the nose and it comes through clean and crisp with loads of passionfruit, mango and oranges. Malt is smooth and clean with a bit of honey and way less of the awkward caramel before. This is a must have if you are an IPA fan! Original rating: 750 that releases a lovely orange beer with a big sudsy head. Aromas are mostly citrusy with lots of orange and lemon notes and a little passion fruit and mango. Iíd like a bit more fullness to the nose, but thatís my preference. Flavor is a nice mix of hop bitterness up front... Mostly resin, but a little citrus... with a caramely grain sweetness mid-palate and a orange and mango finish. Itís pretty decently put together and there are not really any rough edges, but if I were in charge of the universe there would be a little less caramel to the malt presence to knock the sugars down a bit...
