Heres what Iíve been goofin around with for a while. I love belgian wits on hot summer days (or freezin your but off days). Anyway I took a witbier and threw in a bunch of hibiscus flowers from Egypt and made the stuff even better.

When smelled, this beerís aromatic blend of a general floral scent with wheat, sweet bread malts, sour dough yeast makes you fall in love; then, the cloudy golden color and medium white head give you high hopes. The taste is mildly sour and mildly sweet, but this isnít too bad of a flavor; it is very drinkable. Then, the medium body, soft carbonation, the slick texture, and sweet finish round it off beautifully.

Yellow-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has a ton of hibiscus notes with not too much else going on. The flavor has some hibiscus and wheat notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Pour is a cloudy pink grapefruit juice lookalike with a small white head. Aroma is some citrus spice with a decent amount of fresh cut flowers. Flavor is more floral with some berry fruit and finishes with a nice lemony citrus on the tongue. This beer is weird looking when first poured but it turns out to be a very tasty floral/fruity beer.

Tap at Bridge Tap House in St. Louis, MO. Cloudy grapefruit juice pour. Weaker foam. Beautiful color. One of the best colors Iíve seen for hibiscus wit. Nose is boss. Taste is boss. This brewery kicks butt. Very impressive. Great hibiscus fruity flavor with mild sweet raspberry popsicle. Fresh berry smoothie aroma. Shockingly good. Huge lacing, sheets on second pour. Great for summer. Finally, someone knows how to make a hibiscus wit. Love this brewery. 4 of 4 beers sampled were the bomb.

Poured hazy straw/orange. Aroma of floral, biscuit, banana, coriander. Tastes similar to smell but with a slight citrus added to the mix. Nice creamy mouth feel.

Hazy yellow pour with a very fizzy white head, like champagne. Smells citrusy with some floral notes, almost like perfume. Very floral flavor. There is a delicate flowery flavor to this light beer. I would really like to sip this beer while walking around a botanical garden viewing flowers during the summer. There is also a strong presence of lemony citrus on the palate. The finish is almost like you took a swig of a very floral perfume. Smells good on my breath. This is not an everyday kind of beer, but it is pretty unique, and worth the experience.
