Tap about one month old, pours hazy medium pale yellow, white fizz. Light sting in the nose of sour and funk, solid golden malts go down way to easy when cold. Gentle lemony tart with great carbonation, drying finish but still slightly sweet. Really nice beer.

1/25/15. On tap at 21st St, STL. This was one of my favorite beers of my entire night in STL. Mrs. Owl would love this stuff - wish I had more time in STL to find bottles. I was surprised how much I liked this one. Golden pour with a nice off-white head. Nice tartness in the aroma, lightly sour, Brett, fruity, clean, lemon peel. Awesome flavor, just the right amount of sour, a light Smarties aspect, pale malts, Brett, fruity. Delish!

From notes. Tasted on 6/5/13 on draft at The Bridge during a baseball trip with Adam and Taylor. Pours clear pale golden with a thin white head that recedes pretty quickly to a super thin collar of lace. The nose is lightly tart with some lemon acidity, and just a bit of brett funk, muted. The flavor is quite nice, tart and light with funky brett and just a light touch of vanilla and bread malt. The body is light with very lively carbonation and a medium tart and funky finish.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, neon yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has a ton of buttery oak, tropical fruit, white grape, passion fruit, some raw wood, some preserved lemon. Flavor is tart, lemony, woody, buttery, almost like lemon custard, grassy too, white grape. Really buttery, oily finish.

Sample from 2012 batch at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Hazy pale golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Light body with flavors of funky lemons, brett and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly sour with a citrusy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy, light golden with a white head. Aroma of a nice Brett note with a little funk but also a little lactic sourness, some pale malts with wheat-like notes, light fruits and citrus, and some floral notes. Flavor the same with a cool blend of everything but just a tiny lactic sour note. Average texture. A solid beer but could be improved upon to be a great beer.
