COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a good chewy stout that has been a good bit of chocolate aroma and flavor yadda yadda, blah blah. You’ve heard it all before, just drink it and you’ll see how good it is.

Bottle. Pours a thick black color with brown head. Roasty, chocolate aromas. Dark chocolate, oak, roasty, syrupy flavors. Tasty and very drinkable stout.

Tap at The Bridge in St Louis, MO. Rating #5700 on this site. Not on the tap list. Inky pour. Spotty Martian red lacing. Nose is strange: peanut salted, umami seaweed crackers, Japanese gas station snacks. Taste is spot on: rich, dense, bitter, waxy dark chocolate. Really delicious. Dry, dusty cocoa powder finish with hints of chili powder. Wow. Big surprise here from an up and coming brewery.

Share this at a buddy’s house. Poured like black coffee. Deep black with a small brown head. It smelled of bourbon, vanilla, oak and chocolate. Good balance. Dark chocolate, fig, coffee, oakiness, mild vanilla and some boozy bourbon flavors. Nothing overpowers the other, just a good blend.

All I can smell is coffee. It is a nice creamy, extremely dark brew. Tastes like an iced coffee from Starbucks. Very smooth. Delicious mocha cappuccino flavor that lingers on the palate. Definitely worth getting any time you can find it.

Draft at the Bridge in STL. All the way nice! Pitch black, full bodied, and super easy to drink. A bountiful roasted stout for a cold day. (#4935, 1/24/2013)

Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate malt , caramel aroma. Medium to heavy sweet toasted malt flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.

750 ml bottle from phaleslu. Pours black in color with a medium sized creamy beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, chocolate, mild berry notes with a slight tart character and a hint of smoke. The flavor is a pretty straight forward stout; mild sweetness, roasted malts, ash, dark chocolate and some mild dark fruits. The texture and overall enjoyment improved with warming.

750ml bottle, shared by alexsdad06. Dark black color, good brown head, leaves good lace. Bigger body, more full. Lighter carbonation, good dry texture. Roastiness, little chocolate, dark fruit. Bitter taste. Coffee. Good texture, easy drinking stout.

Bomber - pours solid black with a chocolate brown head. Has a roasted chocolate (or coffee) flavor. Full bodied with a smokey finish. Reminds me of the Alaskan 25th Anniversary RIS.
