It poured a yellow/light golden color with a white head. The aroma was a little fruity with a hint of yeastiness. The taste was of fruits, yeast and spices. Not bad.

Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a thick fluffy white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with some yeast in the background. Light to medium body with flavors of ripe fruit, yeast and slight spice. The finish is fruity up front with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught at the Bridge Tap House, St Louis, MO.
Hazy deep yellow colour with a small white head. Weak fruity aroma... Well, the flavour is... Strange... That’s what it is... Some bitterness... Maybe a touch of alcohol... What else? A tad of old dusty attic... Belgian saison? The yeast adventure is missing...

Tap at Bridge Tap House in St. Louis. Hazy golden pour. Nice white lacing. Mild mango nose with tropical character and starfruit. Muted, but delicate. Starfruit, fresh melon in taste. Dry, no sugar. Prickly carbonation, some seltzer. In a way it tastes a bit like a mango mimosa. I really liked this one, though it takes quite awhile to dissect. Simply, 2nd Shift has proven it is a formidable brewery to look out for. 4 of 4 beers I tried were superb.
