3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at the CCB/RateBeer/Pre-Hunah Tasting (Tampa, FL). Pours a richer deep amber pour, darker haze, deeper with frothy with nice hazy frothy lacing head. Aromas are lemon, lime, a touch more vibrant citrusy, touches of bread, dough, and some oak. Gentle lactic, touches of sweetness, oak, touches of bready malts, some mellow sweetness, oak and brett. Initial is a bit more sour, citrus rind, lime and lemon, crab apple, pear. Some bready malts, yogurt and straw. Nice flavors. Middle is a bit more tart and wild, funky and straw, sweeter fruit and malt elements as we move on. A bit sweeter, a bit more mellow. Finish is dry, tart and sour, lemon and yogurt, oak and straw. A touch sweet and doughy. Least developed for me. Solid though

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared by Brad in the hotel lobby. He opened all 4 seasons of Armand back to back for everyone to try. What a guy! I drank a shit ton of them. They are all awesome, some are a tad better than others, but honestly I don’t pick up on all of the subtle differences between all of these, especially after tasting 100’s of different beers prior to this one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Bottles (all 4!) shared by Tommy and David, thanks! And the journey continue, this time with Autumn (Herfst). This obe pours clear golden with a pillowy white head. Carbonation is a little heavier in this bottle I think. I’m enjoying it thoroughly though. This one is similar to Zomer as far as aroma/flavors go but taste has that little thing that I just can’t put in words that give it an edge (it might be a little more balanced, as if the others weren’t). Awesome!

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 At blind tasting of the 4 seasons of Armand. Shared with Mathieu87.
I thought it was an aged geuze, very much enjoyed it.
Appearance: too much foam, gusher!
Nose: very nice, subtle, fruit, wood comes out more here.
Taste: very good, lots of carbonation, fruity, tastes somewhat older (vintage-like maybe).
