5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
What can I say. I’m a bit biased when it comes to lambics. Big white foam that sticks to the glass. High carbonation. Sour distinct taste that is familiar in good geuze style. This one is one of the better ones with more complex afyer taste and being more balanced.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml bottle shared with ippopotamo36 @La Tana. Unclear amber with a big off-white foam. Aroma is citric, vinous, lime, a note of wood that emerges after a while. Flavour is powerful, citric, tart, not as complex as I expected but so elegant... medium body, good carbonation. Another gem by 3Fonteinen!

Bottle (retired) at La Tana pub in Rome-Italy. Private collection shared by mortlach. Grazie Mille. Pours cloudy orange skin going amber, huge orangish head! Nose: lime forward, wood, a background of bitter cacao. Mouth: lemonade, grapefruit, kind of white vinegars, extreme and elegant.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle share at Craft Clerkenwell, thanks to Tom! 2010 vintage. Cloudy orange, very small white head. Aroma is strong lemon and peach - potent. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Not the over-carb I’m used to in the style. Taste is smooth lemon, earthy and twiggy, very dry. Very good, flavoursome stuff.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2015-03-04. Hazy amber body with a nice creamy head. 3++ Aroma is lightly funky and pleasantly fruity. Light straw and barnyard grows as you delve further into it. 7++ Flavour is interesting, pleasantly sour throughout but it is pleasantly rounded and not overly aggressive. Modesty earthy barnyard accents. Moderate fruit character throughout. Smooth average bodied palate, soft effervescent carbonation. More nuanced than my notes reflect, it was surprisingly subtle, shockingly quaffable, and pleasantly refreshingly sour. Too busy enjoying and not enough note taking! Bottle shared by Travlr.

Golden orange pour. Substantial barnyard aroma of lighter funk, some sweet notes. Tart flavor but no overly so. Barnyard funkiness , some citrus find and zest. Complex and almost a champagnelike breadish taste. On my tp 3 ever
