4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is tart lemon, medium body, well carbonated and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is great sour lemon. My over all favorite beer of the tasting. I preferred this to 3 Fonteinen Vintage Oude Geuze, but would have loved to try this side-by-side with Golden Blend.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle at Akkurat, shared with new friends from RateBeer. Pours a cloudy light amber with a low white head. Aromas of funk, farmhouse, earthy musk notes, apple and grass. Taste is funky and grassy, with apple and farmhouse notes and some citrus notes as well. Mouthfeel is dry and sprightly yet a nice smoothness as well. Great stuff!

Medium bodied, fine massageing carbonation, dank orchard rinse in the close.
Top draw Gueuze - great balance, great depth of flavour.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks Chad! Beautiful color produces tons of stubborn head and lace. Dank, dry, funky farmhouse aroma. Has depth in spades.
Layers of dank, yeasty funk dance on my palate at every sip. A touch of fruity sweetness through the middle softens the yeasty bitterness. Endless complexity here; just fantastic.
This has aged like a champ and should only improve. I do still prefer Zomer (mildly), but goddamn that's delicious.
