Bottle - Lemony sourness with some grass and spice. Cloudy orange with a rich beige head. Compared to the fall, very light and drinkable. Almost too light, it goes quick.

(Rating #5298)

Bottle shared at Klooster, Delft. Pours cloudy golden brown with a big off white head. Aroma of barnyard, horse blanket, tart fruits, citrus and wood.. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to heavy acidic. Very balanced in the palate with the soft sweet aspects against the sour. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Certainly the best of the seasons.

My Bottom Line:
This surprisingly easy-drinking Oude Gueuze showcases doughy yeast, grapefruit juice and piercing wilderness in an intensity level which could be appealing to most non-hardcore lambic drinkers.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy amber.
-The aroma is crazy complex.
-The flavor profile could be more refined. There is a lot of yeast floating around.
-Had this one first out of the 4, and it’s first impression as being soft turned into being ’the softest’ of them all funk-wise and acidity wise.

Bottle.
