Shared all 3 Armand bottles with UrbanCaver, forgetfu, eyeenjoybeer and Caleb at Upland while picking up the Sour Reserve. Pours a rich gold with copious amounts of bubbles cascading up the glass. Wonderful funk smell. Sweaty gym sock, lots of dank earthy notes and some crisp apple/lemon flavors as well. Wow. Oh I should write more than that. Ok. Everything in the nose comes through as well. Very dank and earthy funk throughout balanced perfectly by the crisp lemon/citrus zest. Finishes with a very clean crisp sourness. Mouthfeel is spot on. A bit of body and heavy carbonation. This is the most fantastic gueuze I’ve ever had and resisting the temptation to drink one again immediately. The best of the 3 we tried.

Bottle @ Moeder Lambic. Pours hazy orange-ish amber with medium tall, thick white head. Aroma of apples, grapes, honey, light citrus, peach, very very complex yet balanced. Taste is initially almost sweet before turning a rich tart sourness. Lingering tart finish. Incredibly dry and crisp, light bodied with fairly soft carbonation. Hands down the best geuze I've had! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Thanks, Mike. Enjoyed side by side with Zomer. Pours like bright copper pipe that has been scraped and cleaned with wire brush; foamy, fizzling white head, big bubbled, gone within a few moments. Aroma is outrageously funky, tart, and fruity. Tart lemon, barnyard, sweaty funk, musty cork and cellar floors, sharp apple skins, vinegar and acidity about, gets your saliva glands rolling. Taste is more of the same, funky lemons, tart and sweaty yeast clumps, wet oak, horseblanket, sour stone fruits, white grape skins, a hint of vinegar and more finishing acidity. Sharp, acidic mouth feel with a dry, dry, dry finish; prickly and effervescent on the palate. So damn good, funk and tartness that can’t be replicated.

75 cl bottle @ Kaisla. BB 03/2020. hazy amber, lasting white head. Sour apples, tartness, incredible. Flavor has tartness, green apples, fruityness, looong lasting finish with green apples lingering forever. Amazing! Can’t wait to try the rest of the series.

Bottle 75 cl, BBE 2020. Pours hazy orange in color with a frothy whitish head. Notes of apples, vinegar and light stable. Creamy mouthfeel. Very sophisticated. The sharpness of geueze is for sure there, but yet it feels so smooth in taste. Creamy, apples in aftertaste and some garden almost spicyness is there. Nice slightly sour finish.

750mL bottle shared by a generous soul during RBWG 2013. This was my favorite of the four versions. Fizzy golden pour with a nice off-white head. Funk, sour, doughiness, some barnyard and touches of lactic sourness as well. Very nice!

750 ML bottle Hazy yellow with a tight yellow head. Lovely looking beer Nose is a lot of lemon, grass, green apple, funk, horse blanket and some cheese. Really enticing smell. Taste is lemon grass with apples, pears, soft vinegar notes and straw. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Really balanced well and fun to drink. Really like this one.
