Bottle 75 cl, BBE 2020. Pours hazy orange in color with a frothy whitish head. Notes of apples, vinegar and light stable. Creamy mouthfeel. Very sophisticated. The sharpness of geueze is for sure there, but yet it feels so smooth in taste. Creamy, apples in aftertaste and some garden almost spicyness is there. Nice slightly sour finish.

750mL bottle shared by a generous soul during RBWG 2013. This was my favorite of the four versions. Fizzy golden pour with a nice off-white head. Funk, sour, doughiness, some barnyard and touches of lactic sourness as well. Very nice!

750 ML bottle Hazy yellow with a tight yellow head. Lovely looking beer Nose is a lot of lemon, grass, green apple, funk, horse blanket and some cheese. Really enticing smell. Taste is lemon grass with apples, pears, soft vinegar notes and straw. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Really balanced well and fun to drink. Really like this one.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 For 50 pound this better be good! Bottle from Cask, shared for Skopey’s birthday. Pours hazy yellow with a small, firm white head. Lots of lacing. Some faint lemon in the nose with heavy funk but not too much. Touch of grass and apple. Very appealing and balanced. Fantastically balanced stuff. Lemon sorbet, tart, very grapey (green),apple, lemon cake, bready. Great stuff. Extremely balnced. Best sour I’ve had to date

My 3rd favorite of the 4 bottle tasting. Huge expectations were tempered a bit by a malty nutty gueuze with a fair amount of lemony zing and nice funkyness. Nothing is unique or exciting though.

thanks to collin, malty oaky geuze, a little of a let down, but i did like the other seasons much better a little one dimensional and malty for me

Bottle poured a darker amber brown with a nice frothy head. Smell of barnyard funk. Cheese, feet. Overall my favorite of the seasons. Spring is her mofo

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 Liek the others this is a nice herbal, tart, woody, funky blend. I think this one is the best though, such depth and complexity. Had it again and a huge pour of it. THe lemony but not extreme fruity sourness of this beer is divine.

75 cl bottle to tulip, shared with the Mrs. while watching Michigan in the National Championship and rating #2000 (GO BLUE)! Looks perfect for the style; a hazy orange with lively carbonation and off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells great too; citrus, funk, dough, barnyard; even some cheese. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. A phenomenal example of the style.

Bottled. Amber color with rich frothy foam. Dry woody nose with hints of oaky vanilla, grapefruit and gentle phenols. Flavour is dry woody and grapefruity, with notes of goat cheese, gentle phenols, ripe green apple and oak. High acidity here. Musty mouthfeel. Almost puckering after due to the tannins and the dryness. Really complex.
