Bottle, shared at RBAG Summer Session 2012. Lightly cloudy, light amber with an average frothy white head that leaves spare lacing. Aroma is very interesting: hot rubber on the highway, sour fruit, green wood, cobwebby must. Unripened berries lead the palate, wrestling with pungent rubber, lightly bitter green wood, barnyard funk, ending with a balanced acetic sourness. Mouthfeel is lightly oily and soft. The best geuze I’ve had so far.

Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy golden colored, small white head. Very nice lambic nose, fruit, wheat, horseblanket. Sour and tart flavor, but not overly, fruity notes less apparent than in aroma. Dry finish. Not as intense as i thought it would be. Overall a well balanced gueuze. The beer itself is definitely not worth the price tag (39 euro), but it’s a good way of helping out a brewery in need.

RBAG summer 2012. From a 750ml green corked bottle. Pours dark golden, hazy. Thin head, white coloured, fades fast. Nose is oddly funky with something reminding me of an oily tire, definately a wild aroma, but strangely not that off puting. Taste has lemony tartness, yeasty, funky. Dry finish. Had this after having Zomer, which was an interesting pairing, but felt this one was less interesting.

Bottle. Orange copper with tan head. Nice tart, funky aroma. Flavor is lighter tartness, nice complex flavors, flavor has aged a bit. Brought back from the brewery.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2012 Bottle at home with friends courtesy of Dave. Thanks Man! Poured a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Dust, funk, horse blanket, light citrus, apricot, peach, and citrus. Taste is tart lemon peel, herbal, dust, basement, urine, sour and yeasty. Mouthfeel is medium with fizzy carbonation. Very well-balanced beer and I am glad I got to taste all of these side by side. Definitely the best beer of the seasons.

Bottle @ Stephen’s house, courtesy of skycracksopen. Very generous, thank you! Very cloudy, golden orange appearance with a well carbonated, off white head. Delicious funky, lemon citrusy, cheesy, vanilla, dusty, herbal aroma. Really fantastic aroma. A touch chewy, lemon citrusy, tangy tart yeasty, very nice yeasty, refreshing, funky, barnyard flavor. Not overly sour. Refreshing and fucking delicious stuff!

Apricot color, lacy off-white head. Musty lemon smell, burn rubber. Taste is lemon and funk, really carbonated, agressive. Not really what I have come to expect from 3F. Not terrible, but not my favorite.

Bottle, at RBNAG-11. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a small, off-white head. Funky, fluor-like nose with barnyard and earthyness. Quite lemony flavor with funkyness, fluor-like hints and barnyard and earth. Lasting funky barnyard finish. Full-bodied and tart, really pleasant on the palate. Although a bit too sourish, it’s a really pleasant beer. Probably the best of the three first Armand’4 beers. 111015

Perfecto blend de lambics del maestro Armand. Huele a cuadra total con matices dulces y lácticos. En boca se nota que todas las barricas tenían un tiempo y el ph está ligeramente atenuado. Una demostración de fuerza y estilo de 3 Fontainen
