UPDATED: FEB 4, 2012 Entered to celebrate my 8300th Rating. Thanks a lot Fonefan. @ RBESG, London 2011. Pours cloudy golden with a fluffy white head. Horse manuer, cellar, barnyard, fruity orange. Crisp, funky and dry. Smooth and refreshing. BOOM! Bottle @ Too many geuzeís only one toilet, Ulfborg 2012. Citrus, leather and very crisp. A bit of svovl and manuer. Boom again. 4,3 again.

Bottle @ RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift. Hazy gold orange colour with lasting beige head. Aroma is pretty stunning. Leafy funk. Could smell this all day. Biscuit in mouth. Quite complex in mouth. Good sourness on end. Itís pretty good, but I think I preferred the Tilquin before it. Itís pretty good though.

Bottle, at RBNAG-11. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a small, off-white head. Funky, fluor-like nose with barnyard and earthyness. Quite lemony flavor with funkyness, fluor-like hints and barnyard and earth. Lasting funky barnyard finish. Full-bodied and tart, really pleasant on the palate. Although a bit too sourish, itís a really pleasant beer. Probably the best of the three first Armandí4 beers. 111015

Well it looks like muddy mess w no carbo or head. The aroma starts w leather and light horseblanket. Not much tartness jumping out of the glass, actually. Tart, dry and grassy, this is a bit springlike...must be a touch of pedio or something. Clean, fruity finish w moderate tartness. Maybe light pears? Good brew, the balance is on the refreshing side of the style.

Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Intensive aroma: itís tart, then grapes, leather, fruits. Medium-bodied. Delicated tart flavor with grapes, leather, citrus ...Lingering fruity tartness in the aftertaste. World class lambic,

(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a tall off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, barnyard, light florals, and earthiness. Flavor of lemon, grapefruit, earth, orange, and yogurt with soft mouthfeel and a dry finish.

Unlabelled bottle at the source. Shared with BigMomma. Murky variegated golden brown color, massive dark tan head with flavor flecks. Amazing retention. Aroma is spectacular! "Thatís from the Challenger hops," said Armand. Iím the only one who uses them." Scents of rye flour, leather, sesame, biscuits and grandmaís attic. Taste is toasted dark bread, citrus and sesame breadsticks. Wonderful.
