COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Armand’4 Winter Oude Geuze is a blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old Lambic, brewed, aged, blended and bottled by Armand Debelder. This one-time and possibly the last bottling comes in a fancy Asti Spumante Champagne bottle. Armand only used Challenger hops in this brew. He’s in fact the only lambic-brewer to use Challenger hops to make his Geuze. 60 % malted barley, 40 % wheat, aged hops and water. Each season’s geuze has an unique and different blend.

Sampled at STLWill’s 30th b-day tasting. Big thanks to Will for bringing this and all of he other amazing beers out. Pours orange / copper with a light haziness and off-white head. The aroma is musty with cheesiness and funkiness standing out front. There is also some mild sourness that’s mainly citric along with some toasty malt and basement funk. Medium crisp body that’s richer than most lambics and has semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with fruitiness and tartness along with more maltiness than expected. There is also light nuttiness, basement funk and bugs. The finish is more tart and citrusy. A fantastic series of beers here.

Arôme de croutons brûlés, acide lactique, agrumes. En bouche c’est extremement volatile, une bouffée de légèreté.

Bottle thanks to ygtbsm94! Hazy apricot pour, decent carbonation and a pleasant aroma of funky farmhouse acidity. Flavor is very funky sour lemons, dirty socks (in a good way), more nice acidity that bites all the way to your stomach. Solid beer all around.

[Bottle] Shared by Greg. Thanks! Pours cloudy copper with a large speckled orangey head. Minerally, geuzey aroma, a bit of sweaty socks, lemon, a little grapefruit rind, and a little Parmesan cheese rind. The flavor is perfectly balanced, nice acidity, smooth, light bitterness, lingering sourness, bright and crisp. Very nice geuze. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
