4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Lemon wedge, sourdough, rather clean gueuze aroma coming out of the flawless deep cloudy gold hued liquid covered by an eternal healthy, dense and uniform white head. Not particularly intense perfume, citrus focused in a rather juicy way. Elegant and focused, but not from memory, perhaps not as complex as others from the series. Salt crackery wheat is fresh and accompanies the lemon focus nicely. Dry all throughout. Minerally lemon finish, brightly acidic yet soft, never feeling agressive, with no edges. Boasting a rare elegance on the palate, its bubbles being sharp and fairly large, but tingling and activating the palate, calling for thirst rather than biting viciously.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle thanks to Colin, thanks man. Pour is hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is crazy funky with tart notes and loads of horseback. Hints of something indescribable. Flavor is very funky with district cheese notes, faint salt notes, mineral notes, and lightly earthy. Tons going on here. Awesome.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a deep golden almost amber color with a finger of gaseous bubbles. The nose is layered with complex fruits, dusty wood and some funky barnyard hints. The palate follows and has a round fruit presence underneath that I blanketed as fruit punch but to desimplify; apple, apricot, peach, lemon, pineapple sweet cherry... really delicious with the added nuances of old dusty wood, trace of leather, barnyard hay and the perfect amount of funky acidity ! Absolutely delicious !

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle bought for Bruceís birthday. Pours bright and vibrant orange with a dense white head leaving superb lacing. Nose is very lemon forward with horse blanket, huge funk and mild biscuit. Big tropical fruit influence and it gives it this appealing juiciness which goes hand in hand with the sourness. Mouth watering. Tastes of big funk and lemon tart with huge sour barnyard notes. Light musk with creamy zest. Odd and works so well. The tropical notes give it such an appealing juiciness throughout. Sour and funk is out of this world good. Age has possibly done this wonders with the extra sourness I assume it would have given. World class sour

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle shared with Josh (Maneliquor) at CBC Islington at Bruceís birthday. Nice rich looking bright amber, huge white foam head in the glass which slowly dissipates to thin. Nose is probably the most beautiful gueuze Iíve tasted. I could just sit and smell this all day. Itís big sour, acidic, lots of horse blanket and funk, caramel, green apples, very tangy. Deep rich aromas. Taste is slightly more restrained but still a complex and full flavoured limbic. Green apples, sour, acidic, lots of funk and horse blanket, yeasty, grainy malt. Balance is about as good as it gets. Phenomenal beer.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 75 cl corked. A big, collapsing off-white head sits on top of an unclear golden-orange body. What it lacks in looks it certainly has in aroma. Itís deliciously soft and farmyardish on the nose, lemon and leather, sweaty horse and a touch of malts. Itís very dry on the palate, quite tart, with quite a lot of carbonation. Medium to full body. Citrusy, lemony flavor with pale malts, lots of funk, some spiced hints and a little dusty touch. Lasting finish with lots of flavor. Damn, this was nice. A beer I could drink on a regular basis. 131231
