Pours a hazy bright golden with a thin covering of small-bubbled wispy-lacing white head. Clean aroma has a good Saaz hoppy presence. Slightly earthy pale malty flavor with nice Saaz hop balance before a crisp, clean finish.

Draught at Bruxellensis Festival. Pale gold with lasting white head. Pukey lager malt, ok in mouth. Crisp finish. Don’t like the pukey malt, citric hop finish is nice.

Honey golden color, hazy, creamy head. Earthy hops, vanilla and honey in the aroma. Hoppy, oily flavor, somewhat citric. Just a touch of malt character. Thin to medium bodied. A really excellent, tasty lager, the closest a Flemish beer can get to a Bavarian Zwickel. A bit more body and this would be 4+.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stocholm, 17 June 2006, labeled as Beersel Pils) Colour is yellow, with a dense white head, hazy. Looks a bit like a Belgian wit. Nose is flowery and hoppy with lots of citrus aroma. Taste is fruity with notes of citrus (lemon) and a long dry hoppy bitterness. A surprisingly good lager, very different from the Czech pilsners, but refreshing and nice.
