3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Scopey (3247) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2012
Bottle at home. It pours clear yellow with small fizzy white head. The nose is dough, subtle spice, cracker and grass. The taste is dough, bitter grass, spice, floral, cracker and some pithy citrus with dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and pretty refreshing. Decent.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lukaduke (1021) - Portland, Maine, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Pours a light golden color with a couple fingers of fizzy foam. On the nose its got some nice light toasted malt, cracker and a touch of grassy citrus. On the palate all that nice malt aspects get lost in an overly bitter almost astringent grassy tongue numbing bitterness. A bit overboard for my palate.

33 cl. bottle split with Dylan / Kraddel - purchased @ Brewery - this one must be fresh I assume - clear golden, white head pour - smell is grains, light sweet caramel, flowers, touch nectar - tastes of bitter grains, floral, saaz, hay, light fruitiness with some bitter herbs in the back, grass, light lemon peel - lighter bodied - fine carb. - okay lager but little exiting and not too far from the rest of the ilk floating around
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scrapersnbeer (980) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 7, 2012
Aroma is grainy and citrus. Appearance of a hefe - hazy yellow and effervescent. Flavor is dull bitter and some subtle citrus. Profoundly dry beer, even for a pilsner. Not exactly the classic Bohemian beer, although that should be countered by stating that it’s not corrupted by Belgian influences either. Just a dry, biting lager.

On draft at the Livermore saloon. I was excited to try this one, and it didn’t disappoint. It pours a light golden yellow with a thick white head. The aroma is very bready with some wheat and noticeable funk. CItrusy hops and lemon. The flavor is lightly fecal funky with some fresh baked bread and citrus notes. The finish is only mildly bitter. Nice and refreshing.
