I love this beer.
I did not have much hope for it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Aroma is fruity esters, grain, and hops.
Taste is grainy, sweet, slight hop backbone.
Very well done

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: clear bright gold, short creamy white head. Aroma:bright citrus, some belgian-y yeast, cracker and pie crust, light grassy hops. Taste: very slight tartness, toasted white bread, bright lemon, grass, floral honey, white pepper. Finish: clean, with a bit of lingering yeasty spice and quickly drying. Notes: Czech pils? Felt very Belgian-y, with lots of fruity yeast character on top of a light, crisp, delicious lager. Loved it, but it wasn’t a traditional pils by any means. Favorite of the day. Draught at Birch and Barley in Washington, DC.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized, lacing head. Slightly dustyand sweet fruity aroma with lemon zest and distinctive coriander notes. Slightly sweet and spicy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Initially malty, fruit-accented taste with a touch of honey; quite strong coriander-spicy but unfortunately slim and slightly hoppy finish

Light orange. 2 finger sticky white head. 375ML bottle I picked up today at the brewery. Aroma is weak. maybe hay and grass and lemon. I’m not a fan of the taste though. has an old hops taste, some burnt malts, not refreshing. it does have a good yeast profile but that’s all.

*Exceptional* lager. Pilsner? No. Lager? Eff-yeah. FTW. Strong, flavorful malty notes. Goes done smooth. Highly recommended.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pour is a ugly looking murky yellow greenish with a large white head. Aroma is typical lager grainy malt with a crisp cracker. Flavor is dry malt a light hopping but some wet paper bag is there as well. Fancy bottle but nothing special.

Bohemian style Pilsener, a style seldomly seen in Belgium. Clear, deep golden blonde, stable, snow white head; malt sweetish character, a bit bready, with sharp carbonation and noble, grassy, aromatic hop bitterness in the finish. Very decent - in fact, one of the better Belgian lagers I had so far, though admittedly that doesn’t usually mean a whole lot.
