May 12, 2008 Bottle, shared by dickinsonbeer. Color is somewhere between straw yellow and gold. Aroma is sour and leathery, citrusy. The flavor is the same, very reminiscent of the oude geuze, but a little less sour overall.

May 12, 2008 Bottle at Paul’s Hoboken Gathering:Pours a headless hazy golden. Funked nose with some damp basement, sharp cheese and lemon juice acidity. Slick body with a tart flavor. Cleansing lemon acidity, vinegar and a bone dry finish. A solid Lambic, easy drinking.

May 10, 2008 Bottle Hazy, amber/golden body, with a good head, but this disappears quickly. Aroma of citrus, orange, yeast, dust, ... The aroma is not that great. Heavily sour, lightly bitter flavour. This is very great beer, quite balanced and has a nice complexity. It lacks indeed some carbonation in order to be a gueuze, but still it remains nice.

May 9, 2008 12.7oz bottle labeled Bottle Date Feb 23, 2006. Poured a deeper and hazy golden color with just a trace of a head. Aromas of wood, funkiness, citrus, green apples, and yeast. Tastes of funkiness, green apple sourness, with some vanilla.

May 7, 2008 Bottle, shared with Axilla at a music festival. Poured cloudy gold in color with no head. Aroma of mild citrus and some yeasty funk. Tastes of acidic citrus, slightly tart, typical funky yeast, grass, and a little dusty. I love lambics, but overall this didn’t do much for me. I’d like to try this again.
