Aroma is of a white wine with sour apple notes and hints of vinegar, wood, lemon and yeast. Appearance is cloudy apple juice with minimal carbonation, with the thinest of white heads around the edge. Flavor is sweet for a beer, apple, white wine, tart and wheat. Palate is thin but smooth, a slight sourness. For my first Lambic, it was a lot different than what I was expecting, still decent. And as strange as this beer was to me, I like it, I think its well done, balanced and not overpowering. BDR (2154), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Clear orange amber with little head. Big, dry woody, lemony, barnyard aromas, lots to smell here. Nice acidic burn for the mouthfeel. Searing dry flavors of parched earth, old wood, with acidic lemon; nicely complex. Simply, incredibly, a fucking awesome brew. 3 Fonts out did themselves yet again. Scauca (409), Lovere, Italy

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 4, 2008 This one has a nice golden color with almost no head. Powerful sour/funky aroma with a heavy dose of citrus and a classic gueuze scent - very inviting! Deliciously sour with a nice acidity - lemon, funk, and a nice oakiness. Another solid one from 3 Fonteinen that I could drink a ton of! BelgiskOlklub (403), Viby J, Denmark
