Blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambic. Fermented and lagered in oak vessels. This beer has no head, just like lambic. The lambic is brewed with 60% barley, 40% wheat, last years hop

750 ml bottle, thanks GT. Hazy peach colored pour with a few bubbles of white head when you force it. Recognizable 3F aroma, lighter than oude gueuze however, maybe due to lack of carbonation. Tart lemony flavor, classic funky gueuze aroma and taste, mildly acidic, sour but far from puckering. Easy drinking and delicious.

2006 vintage. Bottle fshared by JulienHuxley, thanks a lot! Pour is cloudy, orange with no head and no lacing. Aroma of wet hay, funk, barnyard, oak. Taste is fruity, pears, tart, oak, barnyard, tart. light body, soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this one considering the low carb.

Bottle (750 ml). Vintage 2006. Shared by Julien/Pier-Luc/Benoit, thanks guys! Slightly hazy golden with little to no head (white) and little lacing. Aroma is cheesy with barnyard, hay, funk and fruits (lemon, peaches). Taste is slightly sweet with cheesy notes, barnyard, hay, funk, wood, hints of dust and light fruity notes. Medium body. Low carbonation. Slightly dry. This beer was really complex, but the low carbonation didnít help. It would have probably scored .2-.4 better with more carbonation. Easily drinkable and quite enjoyable. Another really good beer from 3F.

Unexpectedly bitter. I actually tasted a little hop, remarkable for a lambiek beer. The oak barrels are there to and add some extra specialness to the already amazing beer.

Bottle shared at Olympen, june 28th 2013. Hazy golden body, almost no head or carbonation. Aroma is funky with citrus and berries. Taste is lightly sour, vinegar and berries, balanced by a sweet syrup/raisin taste which makes the beer only slightly sour. Also a higher bitterness than many lambics. A pretty good - and different - beer from 3F

Bottle @ Bruceís. 2006 vintage. I canít recall where I picked this up. The pourís amber with a small head. The nose is pollen, some leaf pile. Strong woodyness. Acerbic brett. Green apple. The taste is peaches, cobweb. Earthy molding orchard fruits. Dog hair. Bretty tang. Nice, sharp lemon. Wonderfully expressive, vivid flavors. The carbonationís very soft, though this doesnít detract from the mouthfeel of the beer. Overall, very tasty. I had assumed this was the black sheep of the family. Clearly this can stand on its own.

Bottle at Jackís farewell at Bruceís. Pours vibrant orange with a fine white head which becomes a thin ring around the sides. Nose is heavy orange, shortbread, funk, hay and grass. Taste shows very fresh grass, really quite sour, with orange, lemon rind and citric sweetness. Bitter on the end with a touch of peppery spice. Really good stuff

Bottle shared at Bruceís in London - many thanks to the man of the hour, Jack. Pours murky orange with a fine, creamy white head. The aroma loads it up with the grass, light funk, some randy citrus, orange. Light sweet finish, sweet and fresh grass, moderate funk and sour bite, some orange rind. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Good grassy and fairly sour finish, some rindy citrus bitterness. Great balance. Probably the best beer of the evening.
