Commercial Description:
Blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambic. Fermented and lagered in oak vessels. In this bottle the young yeast is brought to sleep ('ingedoesjeld') so the original lambic flavors are preserved. This beer has no head, just like lambic. The lambic is brewed with 60% barley, 40% wheat, last years hop

Bottle from capones. Poured a yellow color with no head at all. NIce sour funkey acid smell. Taste is nice and sour with lots of citrus and yeast. This would have been awsome if it was alittle carbonated but it was still very good.

Thanks to Richlikebeer for this one. Bottle from Feb 06. Poured a transparent yellow color with no head what so ever. Has a funk smell to it and a little bit of citrus but mostly funk. Flavor was about the same but was also a little tart.

375ml Bottle I picked up in Seattle on a deep on the bottle shelf at Whole Foods Market. Bottled Feb 23, 2006. Pours a murky deep dirty golden with a low amount of carbonation. Nose is a nice funk, barnyard. Flavors of funky yeast, nicely balanced oak, funkiness becomes more distinct as the beer warms, barnyard flavors, light astringent sourness too.Mouth is very flat, a little distracting on this one for me, has a grainy texture to it. Would like a little more carbonation but still decent.

corked caged bottle into snifter (bottled Feb 23, 2006). Synthetic cork... not cool. Pours completely flat with a great golden body with an orangish hue. Aroma is very solid strong earthy gueuze -- sour white grapes, funk, tart yeast, etc. Flavor is quality as well. Not super tart, not super funky, very earthy... very drinkable. Medium to light bodied with the consistency of water on the palate. Overall: very solid gueuze, though not the best out there.

2006 12 oz from Deep Ellum in Boston. Pours a murky orange with no head or carbonation. Oak and barnyard funk fill the nose. This beer was very flat so I am not sure if I am giving it the proper rating. I think I would have enjoy the body if it wasn’t for the lack of carbonation.

375ml bottle from Delirium Café, Bruxelles. Hazy, peach colored with medium white head. Aroma is acidic and tart. Not much complexity. Taste is big tart and acidic. Some complexity in the taste that I can’t put words on. Some fruity hints but don’t know which.
