| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 4, 2009 This was my first gueuze, and although I enjoy some sours, this was just too much for me. A strong sour flavor, and some strange stuff that is hard to describe. Something burnt? Also quite acidic. I definitely picked up on the band-aids as well. Can’t say I enjoyed this. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Pours a murky lemon color with almost no head. Aroma is lemon, bandaids, and some leather. Lots of citrus in this beer but the nose is really huge and funky. Good mouth pickering sour kick on the front end gives way to citrus bandages and a deep earthiness on the back. Nice complex gueze. Tasty beer. TaktikMTL (2771), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Bottle from Premier Gourmet & enjoyed at Rudolf’s Lambic Tasting 2009. Pours aflat dirty gold. Typical funky, musty earthy lambic aroma. Taste, while flat, is extremely smooth. Nice sourness, acidity & earthiness. Flatness makes it more drinkable IMO Maddog (236), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Had on draft at the Dilly Deli. Bottled in Feb. of 2006. Thanks for the suggestion, Peanut! May be my beer of the year in 2009. Light amber in color, cloudy with an aroma of serious funk and flavors that are overwelmingly tart with that funky, musty, yeasty flavors of a master Gueuze. This beer was definitely aged in oak, was crisp and refreshing and had flavors that lingered on the palate for a long time! A killer beer. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Another old rating. Poured flat with a golden color. Very potent sourness and some citrus coming through. The flatness in this one actually pulled a lot of aroma out of this and made it more potent. Nice beer. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Bottle, Poechenellekelder. Hazy bright orange. Mild dry aroma of fruit skins, seeds, and rinds. Palate is nearly flat. Super dry. Not tart. Has superlative citrus rind and pith character. Lemons. Only a slight hint of welcome acidity. Very satisfying.
