Commercial Description:
Blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old lambic. Fermented and lagered in oak vessels. In this bottle the young yeast is brought to sleep ('ingedoesjeld') so the original lambic flavors are preserved. This beer has no head, just like lambic. The lambic is brewed with 60% barley, 40% wheat, last years hop

Cloudy golden orange, moderate to small head with some lacing and retention. Aroma is barnyard action, some vanilla and wood, tart and acidic of course, funk. Medium bodied, acidic with a light sweetness. Good stuff, if only it was a fraction of the cost.

thanks again to my bro for sharing this! Pours a cloudy straw color with thin white head that fades quickly. Aroma is of sharp funk, yeast, barnyard, and some fruitiness. taste is sour fruit, musty basement and yeast funk. Carbonation is nill which may work for some lambics, but not this one. Still, everything else works great.

bottle, 06. Dark orange color with a few white bubbles. Wet hay, horsey aroma with a tart tinge. Light bretty flavors up front, plasticy phenols. Oaky, musty characters. Mellow tartness in the finish, with a lingering horsey component. Mouthfeel is a light medium, rather dry.

Courtesy hopscotch. Thanks for sharing this surprise brew Eric! Pours a cloudy straw gold, with pretty much no head. Smells of sour fruits, grapes stand out for me. Big funk and tartness as well. No surprise here. The flavor is more on the mellow side for these guys, soft carbonation, but still had a nice bite to it. Alot of sour funky tartness mixed in with the fruits. Nicely balanced for a gueuze, not over the top. very enjoyable brew.

Bottle (375ml - green). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, mabel and tupalev - jerc’s bottle. Cloudy light amber-yellow pour, not much head. Sharp funky yeast (rubber and wool), lemon, lemon zest, slightly sweet fruit malt - very acidic. The taste is very aggressive, lemon juice, hint of battery acid (but in a good way), dry and dusty - simple, good. Average body, very acidic, moderate carbonation, very juicy and eminently drinkable. Niiiice!

Sample from kmweaver. Hazy light gold body with no head. Sour and lightly sweet nose is horseblanket, cheese, citrus fruits, cobwebs and light oak. Moderately sour, lightly sweet flavor with lemon, hay, dough and melon rind. Medium body is soft with almost no carbonation and just a tiny bit thin on the finish.

Bottle at " The night of the great thirst", or something like that. Pours a hazy yellow/gold with a very small white head. Aroma is a bit funky with citrusy sour notes. Flavor is pretty tart...pleaseantly so. Great body and mouthfeel.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a minimal diminished white head. Aroma holds a mild barnyard, slight yeasty and quite mellow aroma, nothing sharp. Flavour is quite clean, acidic with a mellow citric note. Ends with a nice woody note. Very soft brew, smooth and pleasant - perhaps also a bit too lazy.
