3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
As with most of this kind of beers - served ice cold (as should be) equals no cabonation and no head. Aroma is fruity with winter apples and maybe somthing else. Taste is more intense: lots of (but not too muchI) acidity and apples. Very tart. Great tasting. In my champagneflute it appears hazy and yellow and lovley.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to errl for sharing this bottle. 2006 vintage. Orange pour with a very a few bubbles but no head. The aroma is awesome and I almost donít want to drink the beer - I just want to smell it. I get some great funk and brett notes as well as some orange citrus. The flavor has some great oak and leather notes as well as the classic 3 Fonteinen funk. Incredibly complex and interesting. Medium mouthfeel and no carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ tasting, 2006 vintage. This vintage really seems to find itís way around here and popping up everywhere.. Pours a clear orange beer without any head. Aroma is oak, sherry and very vineous. Big fruity base with some age on it. Flavor is light sour, age took off the edges from this one, oaky and bretty. Really refreshing after some massive barrel aged imperial stouts. Very nice, balanced brew. Good stuff.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy of MrHangover. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a round white head. The aroma is smooth acid vinegar citrus. The flavour is medium sour with a big vinegar palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation. A nice beer to taste and fine in small quantities, but the vinegar starts to dominate eventually and iím not a big vinegar fan.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled 07/12/2006. Hazy orange, almost no head. Complex, quite sharp aroma. It has red currants, wood, vanilla, eucalyptus, earthy leaves and wet leather. Musty, sourish flavor is medium dry. Lots of acidity, like fresh grapefruit juice with a touch sugar. Woody and herbal finish with leather and berry skins, good tannins. A touch of vanilla and delicate perfumes in the very late finish. Medium body, flat texture. Sophisticated and delicious. Complex yet easy to drink. Well aged.
