4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
2011 split three ways with friends. Framboos pours a dark maroon solid red with thin frothy white heading on a soft pour. A huge raspberry bouquet in the nose including seedy and tart raspberry with some stems, funk, and sulfur. Whole, hearty raspberries on the bush. The taste lives up to the nose showcasing some serious raspberry pulp, slightly tart juice, and a finish of yogurt and funk, especially as it warms. Great finish overall with no harsh notes to be found making it incredibly drinkable and enjoyable. Cheers to world class fruit lambics and to Armand for [re-]making this!

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2016 Sampled from 0.75 l bottle, 2014 vintage, shared by kermis at Not THT, thanks! Murky, brownish red, no head. Sourish-fruity, moderately funky aroma of raspberries, some strawberries, red wine vinegar, some oak and some bitter almond. Quite sour, fruity and moderately funky taste of raspberries, strawberries, red wine vinegar and a bit of bitter almond, followed by a medium long, quite tart and woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent and quite astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good stuff!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
2014 bottle shared thanks to kermis. Murky dark pink to brown with no real head. Some hay, funk, raspberries, red berries and black currant. Light bready, mineral, green leaves and a touch of red wine vigegar. Over medium sour and very light sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s good, but really not as good as the hype.

Candy for grown ups, the kind you’d gladly steal from a child :p Rasberry heaven, I bet that this was what God really made on the 7th day, the resting bullshit was just a huge cover up.
The taste is a funky blend of raspberries and citrus. Love this as much as some people love Sofiero!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a rubin red, satured color, with no head to speak of - apparantly this flat as an island.
Explosive nose of an intriguing interplay between crisp strawberries and funky glue, together with blue cheese. Has an astringent vinegar acetic quality to it, which lends a fermented ripeness to the berries. Has a wet leaves characteristic to it, with moldy, funky wood bark and strawberry bush.
Drinks fairly flat, with just the tiniest amount of carbonation, which leads to an uncompromising, tongue sticking acetic tartness, without 3 Fonteinens typical stony mineral effervescence. The crispness of the fruits make up for it though by providing a nice raspberry richness.
Tastes of cucumber water, turnip cabbage, vinegar and very unripe raspberries. The berries then produce a stone pit accompanied, earthen sweetness, while the beers profound tartness becomes even more prominent. Has an aqueous softness in the finish, while its strawberry richness is almost gone, putting the flavor focus entirely on the teeth numbing, long lastic sourness.
Drinks more than an AWA than a fruit Lambic to me - incredibly sour, vinous, with not much else being able to cut though. The beer produces a powerful acetic sourness which is able to overcome the raspberry presence in this. Compared to Cantillons Rose, this is inferior in each and every way, less pronounced fruit characteristics and quite unbalanced.

Aroma definitely brings some blue cheese funk and huge raspberries. Pours thicker dark cranberry red. Flavor has funk and raspberries as expected, bit and thick on the body, tart and acidic for sure, but not cutting hugely.

Bottle brought by daje, and shared at the Weekend in the woods 2015 - with daje, Simonsen and some other guys
Pours red, super hazy, with almost no head! Smell of raspberries, loads of it! Funk, wood, stable, some malts, complexity, but most of all raspberries. Light to moderate sweet, clean wonderful raspberry flavor, elegant woody elements, oak, tart berry acids, medium sour, complex bretty flavors, just a blast! Really a fantastic fruit lambic!
